Situated in the north metro near the National Sports Center, Anoka County-Blaine Airport (Jane's Field) has undergone a series of recent improvements, including:

Extending and widening east-west Runway 9-27 to 5,000' x 100'
lengthening the adjoining taxiway
installing an instrument landing system with approach lighting and runway identifier lights
developing a new building area anchored by a fixed based operator with an executive terminal and an 80,000 square-foot hangar.

The 1,800-acre airport has multiple fixed base operators, serving the most diverse aircraft mix in the MAC reliever system. Runway 9-27 is 5,000' x 100', and Runway 18-36 is 4,855' x 100'. A precision approach is available on Runway 27. A non-federal aircraft control tower is operational from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the winter and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the summer.

The airport supports more than 69,000 takeoffs and landings annually. There are 433 aircraft based at the airport.
