Long-Term Comprehensive Plan

Flying Cloud has played an important role in the Twin Cities since the airport opened in 1943. Located approximately 14 miles from downtown Minneapolis, the airport is considered by the MAC to be a primary reliever airport for the Minneapolis – St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Due to its location in the southwest suburbs, businesses consider it an important part of their local operations.
